Privacy policy

ForeDrive is built so that we hold as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, and your trips stay on your device.

What stays on your device

• Trips you plan, favorites, saved briefings and your settings (units, appearance, text size) are stored in your browser on your phone or computer. We cannot see them.
• If you unlock ForeDrive Plus with a code, the code is stored on that device only.
• Clearing your browser data, or removing the app from your home screen, deletes all of it.

What the app sends to other services

To build a briefing, the app in your browser asks these services directly. Each one receives only what it needs for that request, and none of them receives your name or email.

These services have their own privacy policies. Requests carry your device's internet address, as every web request does.

Your location

The app asks for your location only when you tap Locate or My location, or when you open a favorite that starts from wherever you are. Your position is used to fill in the start of the trip and to center the map. It is not stored by us and not sent anywhere except as the start point of the routing and forecast requests above.

What we store on our servers

• Email sign-ups and support messages. If you give us your email on this website, we keep it, the message you wrote, the page you sent it from and the time. We use it to reply to you and to tell you about launch. We do not sell it, share it or add it to anyone else's list. Ask us to delete it at any time using the support form or by emailing support@foredrive.app.
• Hosting logs. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs (internet address, page requested, time) for a short period to run the service and stop abuse.

We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels or third-party cookies.

Children

ForeDrive is for drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it here with a new date, and email anyone on the launch list if the change affects them.
