Questions people ask

Why is the weather briefing free?

Because the point of ForeDrive is that people check before they drive. The free briefing is complete: it is not a teaser. Plus pays for the parts that cost us money per user, like comparing several routes and traffic data.

Do I need an account?

No. Trips, favorites and settings live on your phone. Plus works on the device you unlock it on; a Founding Driver code works on up to three of your devices.

Can my whole family use it?

Yes. The free briefing works for everyone, and the printed or shared briefing can be sent to anyone. Family sharing for Plus is planned.

Is this a replacement for a weather warning?

No. ForeDrive is a planning aid built on public forecasts. Always follow official warnings, road closures and what you see out the windshield.
