Why vans, RVs, trucks and trailers have their own button
A high-profile vehicle catches the wind. ForeDrive warns about gusts and crosswinds at lower speeds than for a car, so a windy pass or an open plain shows up before you are on it.
Truck-safe roads for your rig
The main road is planned for your truck's height, weight, length and hazmat class, so it keeps clear of low bridges, weight limits and truck bans. Wind and chain-control ratings use tractor-trailer limits. Set your rig in Settings → Semi truck.
Why motorcycles have their own button
On a motorcycle you ride in the weather, not through it. ForeDrive rates your trip for a rider: it warns about gusts at lower speeds than for a car, flags rain sooner because traction drops on two wheels, and counts wind chill and heat at riding speed.
